In 2013, Gretsch introduced three limited edition snare drums to celebrate their 130th anniversary. This Gretsch Black Aluminum model (130-7142S-SAB) measures 14 by 7 inches and is capable of performing at a wide dynamic range.

Sound

Generally, aluminium snare drums provide a somewhat drier, shorter sound than their steel or brass counterparts, adding a nice touch to your setup, and this snare follows suit. This Black Aluminum Limited Edition snare drum was only manufactured in 2013, ensuring its status as a collector's item.
