The AR620-BK is an exceptional, highly limited model by Ibanez. This electric guitar is based on the solid body Artist models from the seventies. What's so special about this version is its ebony fretboard with a beautiful tree-of-life inlay. The edge of the body is also elegantly decorated with abalone inlays, and the gold-coloured of the AR620-BK contrasts very nicely with the black lacquer. Delivery includes an Ibanez case.
Ibanez AR620-BK: high-end features
The AR (Artist) is characterised by its LP-style body made of mahogany, with an arched top and two cutaways. The neck of the AR620 is made of three pieces of maple and is set into the body with a streamlined neck transition for better access to the higher frets. A perfect example of great craftsmanship are the fret ends, which have been perfectly rounded and polished for more playing comfort.
Super 80 'Flying Finger' pickups
The AR620-BK is equipped with Ibanez Super 80 pickups, also known as Flying Finger pickups. Despite their high output, these humbuckers with closed covers sound bright and punchy, and above all clean and full. In addition to two volume and tone controls, there are also two Tri-sound switches that allow you switch to series or parallel pickup configurations. With the coil-tap switch you can eliminate one of the two coils to get a sparkly single-coil sound.
