De nieuwe wereld in het luisteren naar de radio is het luisteren met Digital Audio Broadcasting, kortweg DAB. Deze techniek biedt CD kwaliteit radio luisteren zonder antennegeluiden.

Marantz heeft de ST-7001 uitgerust met Dual Band DAB, zodat de tuner beide voor DAB geschikte frequentiebanden kan ontvangen. De ST7001 kan ook perfect FM en AM ontvangen.
