With a Schlagwerk RTC34 hand drum 13.5 inch in your hand, you send a recognisable and energetic percussion part into the world. A quiet, subtle yet piercing sound is what you use a hand drum (circle drum) for. With a slap on the rim you get a shorter bright 'snappy' stroke, so it is these short strokes and the long deep notes that colour your part. Responsible for this sound is a taut goatskin stretched over a 35 cm multilayer beechwood frame.
