General

Just like the US-122 MKII, this Tascam US 144 MKII is a successor of the popular Tascam US-122. The US-144 MKII offers slightly more extensive functionality than the US-122 MKII, however, and comes with an accessory copy of Cubase LE software.

Just like its predecessors, this USB audio MIDI interface offers you everything you need from a portable interface. As the US-144 MKII requires no external power supply, you can use the interface wherever and whenever you like.

The US144 MKII can be used as an on-board sound card for your computer, enabling you to play back music and video files with a much better audio quality. The XLR microphone inputs with adjustable phantom power and the high-grade preamps of the interface are responsible for the excellent sound of its recordings. The Tascam US-144 MKII allows you to monitor via headphones at zero latency, and supports a sample rate of up to 96 kHz at a 24-bit resolution - in other words, twice as much as CD quality.

Leuk stuk speelgoed
Moet nog veel leren maar dat komt wel samen met cubase 5

Het fijne van bax-shop is dat ik eerst 155 euro betaalde
en de tascam goedkoper zag
Ik melde dit aan bax-shop en kreeg 40 euro aan kadobonnen
zeer goeie service

Ik heb zelf de MK1 hiervan en behalve het uiterlijk lijkt er helemaal niks aan de mk2 te zijn veranderd. De us144 heeft al mijn latency problemen opgelost, en het was even uitvogelen hoe het werkte met aansluiten (zowel op windows xp, vista en 7 werkte hij iig prima). nog nooit gebruik van de midipoorten gemaakt omdat de meeste controllers tegenwoordig wel midi via usb hebben. Ook nog nooit last van gekraak gehad. Mijnes doet iig al ongeveer 5 jaar trouw dienst!

Ik was op zoek naar een usb-geluidskaart maar had geen flauw idee welke. Een kennis had een Tascam met goede ervaringen dus ik had de Tascam US-144 MKII USB besteld. Na de drivers geinstalleerd te hebben ging ik de geluidskaart testen. Midi was een crime. Kraken en piepen. Dat plug en play viel dus wel tegen. Na 2 dagen zag de computer de geluidskaart niet meer waardoor de drivers opnieuw geinstalleerd moesten worden. Dit is een paar keer gebeurd. Kortom, ik heb de geluidskaart teruggestuurd en een andere (Roland Quad Capture) besteld. Die komt als het goed is morgen binnen. Ik ben overigens uitstekend geholpen door Bax-Shop.nl. Terugsturen was geen enkel probleem. Gratis zelfs. Als ik weer iets nodig heb zal ik geen seconde aarzelen om het bij Bax te bestellen. Prima internetwinkel met prima personeel.
