The Swedish brand Teenage Engineering has really established itself with the OP-1, a remarkably versatile synthesizer that has been prominently featured in a music video by Swedish House Mafia. With the OD-11 cloud speaker, Teenage Engineering has expanded its beautifully designed assortment to an entirely new product category. The OD-11 is a separate speaker that has been modelled after the Carlsson OD-11 - a Swedish hifi speaker from the 1970s - and combines a graceful design with great sound characteristics.

Teenage Engineering OD-11: up in the cloud without any wires

The cloud aspect of the OD-11 is a remarkably modern concept. These days, music files are no longer stored on physical hard drives around the house, but in an online cloud, connected via Internet services and social media. To accommodate that technology, the Teenage Engineering speaker is equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and is able to wirelessly stream any music you choose.

Hifi and Bluetooth

The OD-11 brings your music to life by means of a powerful 100-watt amplifier. A sizeable woofer and an optimally positioned tweeter ensure an exceptionally pleasant hifi experience. A great accessory is the optional wireless Ortho remote: a magnetic wireless remote control with Bluetooth 4.0 functionality, which enables you to turn up the volume from, let's say, the fridge.
