General
The Yamaha F370 acoustic folk guitar has 6 steel strings. This handsome varnished guitar is a perfect beginner instrument, and with the F370, Yamaha proves that a quality guitar can also be affordable. The sides and back of this guitar are fashioned from nato, which is a South-American hardwood similar to mahogany. The top is made of spruce. This combination of wood types provides a beautiful, clear and warm sound. The neck of the 370 is also made of nato and is coupled with a rosewood fretboard. You'll find that the rosewood makes the 21-fret fingerboard especially smooth and supple, making it easy to find your chords. This guitar is easy to tune precisely because of its chrome Gotoh tuners, which are known for their outstanding quality due to screws with improved thread quality.
