Movies, games and sports truly come to life with Optoma's GT760 home projector, which is capable of projecting 3D movies at 720p. This projector has DLP Technology (Digital Light Processing), which means that light is adjusted digitally to the images being projected. It's even possible to project an 80-inch screen from a distance of less than a metre away, making it an ideal projector for entertainment purposes in the home. Thanks to its high contrast ratio, using the GT760 during the day to enjoy amazing projections is no problem at all.
Optoma GT760: detail and depth thanks to DLP
A common problem with projectors without DLP Technology was that darker images were often over-exposed, which added up to loss of detail. The DLP technology has made it possible to dynamically adjust the amount of light to the images being projected. In other words, the light bulb will shine less brightly for a darker projection, and the contrast ratio will be adjusted by the 'dynamic black' function. So-called 'crosstalk' is now a thing of the past!
Projecting in practice
The Optoma GT760 doesn't need a lot of time to start up or cool down. If you should happen to switch it off accidentally, it can be switched back on again and used immediately. This projector's light bulb has an extra long life span of 6,000 hours on average. To keep those colours looking as bright as possible, Optoma has integrated the BrilliantColor Technology, which makes it possible to project a wide variety of colours. You can even adjust the colours to your own personal taste.
