General

The MicW iGoMic Mini Shotgun is a compact directional microphone that can be mounted on a GoPro or reflex camera. Audio is transmitted to the 3.5mm input of your SLR camera or GoPro Hero2 via the accessory mini jack cable. A mini USB cable is included for the Hero 3 and Hero 4, as well as a fastener for the cold shoe of your SLR and a special holder which can be screwed onto a GoPro mount. Fit the Deadcat Windjammer around the microphone to counter wind noise when you're recording out of doors.

iGoMic Mini Shotgun: focused

The iGoMic Mini Shotgun ensures clear, detailed audio recordings. Its pickup pattern differs from that of its colleague, the iGoMic Stereo. The Mini Shotgun features a super-cardioid pickup pattern, which means that it focuses on what's right in front of the camera, while the Stereo also picks up a lot of ambient sounds, for a more spacious image. This makes the Mini Shotgun an excellent choice for field reporting, interviews and other applications where the speaker needs to be clearly intelligible.
