This RME Advanced Remote Control is designed to operate your FireFace UFX+ via the integrated TotalMix FX app in your RME interface. It works via USB 1.1 and features 15 illuminated buttons for easy navigation. It also has an encoder wheel to scroll through parameters and a TS jack input to attach a separately-available foot switch, if desired. As soon as the remote control is present in the system, it will immediately be recognised by the TotalMix FX app.
TotalMix FX
TotalMix offers unlimited routing and mix possibilities in collaboration with RME interfaces and allows you to make as many autonomous submixes as there are available output channels. At the same time, it's equipped with a complete effects system that solves latency issues. The effects are built in, so no extra calculation time is needed for the external plugins and systems. TotalMix can replace an entire mixer and features functionality you'd normally find in an external mixing console - again, with virtually zero latency! By downloading the app TotalMix FX for iPad, you will have complete control of the DSP effects and hardware mixer of your FireFace, BabyFace, BabyFace Pro and 802. What's more, you can create, store, and load your own mixes all from your iPad!

Known for their brilliant interfaces, the brand has launched no fewer than four new products at the 2016 Musikmesse trade show! First of all, there is the Fireface UFX+, successor to the original flagship, the Fireface UFX audio interface. Next, there is a re-vamped version of the RME ADI-2, the ADI-2 Pro, a 2-channel AD/DA converter. Following in the footsteps of the Babyface Pro is the MADIface Pro and the RME ARC USB remote control for use with the RME Fireface, Babyface Pro, Babyface and 802 units.
