Get the party started with this American DJ laser effect! With a 30mW green laser and an 80mW red laser, the Micro 3D II is able to produce spectacular lighting effects, just like its predecessor. This easy-to-use, compact powerhouse is a produces awesome 3D effects with a wide range that are suitable for small-scale events, like in a pub or a house party.
Functionality
The great thing about the Micro 3D II is that is has a variety of modes that are operable without a DMX. All you need is the included IR remote for complete control of the basic functions of this laser effect. When in sound-activated mode, it uses a built-in microphone to allow the lights to move to the beat of the music. The Micro 3D II also has an automatic mode.
Airstream IR
If you think there isn't anything else American DJ could put into this little laser, you're mistaken. Besides the IR remote control, this unit also comes with an Airstream IR infrared transmitter. Plug it into your iOS device and download the free Airstream IR app, so you can access the same controls as the IR remote on your mobile device.

Wrote the following about ADJ Micro 3D II
Had er meer van verwacht...
Opzich een aardig effect voor plafond, vloer en wand. Geen fixture om de hele avond aan te hebben, meer zo nu en dan.
De 3D simulatie ziet er mooi uit. Deze doet steeds hetzelfde kunstje, soms linksom en dan weer rechtsom.
Heb de ADJ Micro 3D ongeveer 2,30 m boven de vloer hangen, recht naar beneden. hier had de Micro 3D een display-ruimte nodig van minimaal 6 meter om het effect mooi tot z'n recht te laten komen.
De meegeleverde afstandsbediening kan handig zijn, hier reageerden echter ook andere fixtures op, niet alleen van ADJ maar ook van Showtec en JB-systems. Dat is dus erg lastig!
Ook is er geen Daisy-chain aanwezig. Kan dus lastig worden in een truss. Gelukkig heb ik een Showtec RP-450 MK2 switchpack in m'n truss hangen en op deze wijze altijd stroom en DMX aansturing voorhanden.
De ventilator is redelijk stil. Deze blijft echter altijd doordraaien, ookal staat het apparaat uit en het sleuteltje op off. Om de ventilator uit te schakelen moet de stroomvoorziening worden onderbroken.
Kortom, leuke compacte laser met wat minpuntjes.
In de ADJ Micro serie gaat mijn persoonlijke voorkeur uit naar de Micro Gobo 2, deze is dynamischer en er is meer te zien.
