General

Finished in timeless, thirties style, the Gretsch G9210 Boxcar Square-Neck resonator guitar is a like a sonic time machine. Taking all of its cues from the vintage originals, this dobro has been given a square neck and a raised nut, so that the strings sit above the frets and support classic lapsteel slide techniques. The mahogany body is topped with a hand-lathed resonator cone: Gretsch's own Ampli-Sonic cone, which has been made of 99% pure aluminium to ensure classic dobro sound, so you're treated to the rich warmth of a wood body blended with that classic metallic edge of the cone. The result is clear and crisp tone framed by strong, mid-harmonic projection.
