The Boss DD-7 has taken over the functions of its predecessors, but widens the creative possibilities due to the added Modulation Delay and Analog Delay modes, the external control pedal option and the longer delay times.
The DD-7 features an extended delay time of up to 6.4 seconds. The Hold mode enables you to make recordings of up to 40 seconds, allowing for 'sound on sound' sessions. The DD-7 has a Modulation Delay mode that creates chorus-type delays and an Analog Delay mode that offers a simulation of the classic Boss DM-2. The stereo output enables you to make spatial sweeps or to send out dry and wet signals.
In order to operate the DD-7 Digital Delay in a hands-free manner, you can connect an optional external foot switch or expression pedal. Tap Tempo can be controlled by means of an external foot switch, while effect level, delay time and feedback can be controlled by means of an expression pedal.
