With the DOD Drag, you’re getting an analogue delay pedal that goes beyond a standard echo. The analogue BBD circuit delivers up to 750 milliseconds of delay, allowing you to range from a short rockabilly slapback to long, floating repeats. Use the Time, Feedback, Filter and Level controls to shape the character of your delay. You can then add extra movement to the repeats using the modulation options. From subtle variations to psychedelic oscillations: you decide just how adventurous it gets. The top-mounted sockets help you position the unit practically on your pedalboard. For more extensive foot control, you can also connect an optional FS3X footswitch via the 3.5 mm input.

Modulation and Friction Effects

The Drag’s playful character really comes to the fore with the Friction effects. With SlideStop and Evade, you can bring the signal to a standstill by holding down the footswitch; as soon as you release it, the signal picks up speed again. Rubbernecking adds pitch bends of an octave up or down. The Friction control determines the speed of these manoeuvres. With Drift, you can adjust the modulation speed and depth, whilst Curve lets you choose from four waveforms. There are also three modulation ranges: Light, Medium and Heavy. The reversible StagePlate offers an adjustable grip surface. When you switch the effect off, true bypass ensures your signal bypasses the effects circuitry.
