The Electro Harmonix Pico Shimmer is a compact reverb pedal that transforms your guitar, bass, synthesiser or other instrument into a source of expansive ambient soundscapes. The pedal builds on the renowned shimmer algorithms from Electro Harmonix’s Oceans series and adds a polyphonic string synthesis engine. With the three Scenes – Intergalactic, Off-World and Etherdust – you can create everything from classic shimmer reverbs to warm synth pads and experimental glitch effects. Thanks to the intuitive controls, you have quick access to a wide range of spatial sounds.

Versatile ambient effects in a compact format

With the BLEND, TIME, TONE and VOICE controls, you can fine-tune the effect to suit your playing style. The VOICE knob lets you switch seamlessly between plate reverb, shimmer sounds and synth-like textures. Secondary functions also allow you to adjust the reverb mix, delay time and modulation parameters. The Infinite Reverb function enables you to create endless ambient layers with a single press of the footswitch. Thanks to the choice of Digital Bypass, Analogue Bypass and Hybrid Bypass, the Pico Shimmer fits effortlessly into virtually any pedalboard setup.
