You can quit searching for an (often over-priced) original DM-2, because Boss has redesigned and enhanced its most coveted, legendary delay pedal, and the result is a real keeper. The DM-2W Delay Waza Craft Special Edition is a stomp box that combines the audio quality of a boutique pedal with the benefits of a modern effect. It faithfully reproduces the authentic vintage sound of the original 1981 DM-2 Delay's analogue circuit, but also boasts a number of modern features. It may be a reissue, but the DM-2W Waza Craft Delay is fully up-to-date!

Boss DM-2W: Analogue Quality, Modern Features

The original Boss DM-2 - introduced in 1981 and discontinued in 1984 - was renowned for its warm, analogue Bucket-Brigade delay sound. For the Waza Craft series, Boss has expanded the possibilities by giving the DM-2W two modes, making this versatile pedal suitable for modern music styles. In addition to the familiar Repeat Rate, Echo and Sensitivity knobs, the stomp box has a Standard/Custom switch, which takes you from a rich, lavish effect with a delay time of 20 to 300 ms (standard mode), to a clean, clear and modern effect with more than twice the delay time (custom mode). The DM-2 Waza Craft is also equipped with an expression pedal input, which allows you to adjust the Repeat Rate with your foot.
