The legendary AD-80 delay from the eighties has risen again in the form of the Ibanez Mini Analog Delay! This mini pedal has remained loyal to the specifications of its predecessor, so you can adjust your fully analogue delays with great precision - between 20 and 600 milliseconds, to be exact. Operate the stomp box using the three knobs: Delay Time (the amount of time between delays), Repeat, and Blend (the amount of original signal and delayed signal). It's doubtful that guitarists like U2's The Edge would be as famous as they are today if it hadn't been for this popular effect. This stomp box is powered by a 9-volt power adapter.
Ibanez Mini Series Stompboxes: small but sassy
With their Mini Series, Ibanez is paying tribute to the popular guitar effects pedals of the eighties, when the brand's analogue stomp boxes were all the rage. Some guitarists couldn't do without them, like Stevie Ray Vaughn for example, whose TS808 Tube Screamer overdrive was partially responsible for his signature sound. Effects like flanger and chorus were also commonly used in those days. So, symbolically nodding their heads to the modern guitarist, Ibanez developed a line of compact pedals that won't eat up too much room on your pedal board. This means you get a very big sound out of a very compact stomp box.

Het is een stevig pedaal met drie knoppen.
Het geluid van dit pedaal is erg goed. Prachtig dat je met analoge delays zoals deze geweldig kunt feedbacken. Het enige nadeel van dit pedaal dat ik kan noemen, is dat de repeat en blend knopjes erg klein zijn.
Nou is het logisch dat je op een mini-pedaal niet drie grote knoppen kwijt kunt, maar dat is wel iets waar je vooraf goed bij stil moet staan. Op het podium zijn deze kleine knoppen namelijk erg lastig te zien.
Voor de sound en de mogelijkheden absoluut 5 sterren, maar vanwege de kleine knopjes toch een totaal van 4 sterren. Een prima aanschaf!
