General

With the Parting Basic White from Old Blood Noise Endeavors, you enter the realm of glitch, raw modulation and rich ambient sounds, partly inspired by harpist Emily Hopkins. This unique pedal features stereo inputs and outputs and lets you choose between mono or mono-to-stereo routing. At its heart is the Dissolve knob: below the centre position, it lowers the sample rate, whilst above it, it degrades your sound into an erratic reverse mode. On the left, you control the modulation; on the right, you control a chance-driven or envelope-driven delay, perfect for blending seamlessly with a lo-fi reverb. In addition, this pedal offers tap tempo, half-speed, MIDI presets, analogue dry-through and both buffered trails and true bypass. The Parting promises musical surprises full of character and creativity for those who dare to go beyond standard delay and reverb.
