The Flashback 2 is one of those TC Electronic pedals that comes blessed with the brand's innovative MASH switch. This means that the amount of pressure you exert on the footswitch determines how the effect sounds. While the Flashback 2 doesn't have a tap tempo function, you can always hook up an external footswitch to expand your options.
