General
The WHE701 Aqua Puss boutique effect pedal was first launched by Way Huge in 1996. After being away for a while, this popular vintage-style analogue delay effect is back with a vengeance! This new model has been expanded with a relay-based true bypass circuit, so that it does nothing to the original sound of your guitar. What's more, the pedal automatically switches to bypass mode when the battery runs out. The Aqua Puss has a 9V adapter input that prevents damage due to use of a wrong adapter. Lastly, the pedal features a practical battery compartment that allows for quick and easy battery swapping.
WH701 Aqua Puss: fat delays in a jiffy
Way Huge's Aqua Puss allows you to create vintage-style band echo sounds and analogue delays without the disadvantages of creaky old equipment. There's a delay knob that allows you to set the delay time from 20 to a massive 300 milliseconds. This allows you to sway from a wild rock-a-billy-like slapback to longer echoes that add a dose of depth to your guitar solos. The Feedback knob allows you to set the repeats, that is how often you want the delay signal to be repeated. Open it up fully, and you'll have the most outrageous psychedelic reverbs. Use the Blend knob to mix your dry signal with the delay and range from subtle to wild.
