The Pinnacle Microphones Fat Top is a compact, passive ribbon microphone renowned for its smooth, warm and rounded sound. Its natural high-frequency roll-off helps to tame sharp or brittle high frequencies, often without the need for additional EQ. Thanks to its symmetrical figure-8 polar pattern with a deep null, it is also ideal for isolating sound sources. This stereo pair has been hand-built by engineers and comes with shock mounts, a Blumlein bar and a sturdy aluminium case.
