The Voodoo ribbons by sE Electronics are a new milestone for ribbon microphone technology. Up to now, there weren't many ribbon mics that could achieve a frequency response of 20 Hz to 18 kHz. But the VR2 can do just that!
This is achieved thanks to a new mechanical design by sE. This exceptional technical innovation ensures that the traditional ribbon frequencies of 20 Hz to 18 kHz can be picked up! The sound is revolutionary, as the Voodoo series gives your project a traditional ribbon sound, but works as a condenser microphone.
This results in a detailed and wonderfully open, natural-sounding recording of acoustic instruments and guitar cabinets. The unique performances of this mic, combined with the wonderful design, make the VR2 a contemporary classic.
