General
The Istanbul Agop 22" Agop Signature Ride is an excellent choice for drummers looking for a balanced ride cymbal with plenty of character. This cymbal delivers a dry stick definition, with every strike coming through clearly, underpinned by warm and complex-sounding overtones. Thanks to its mellow crash-ride characteristics, it is perfectly at home in jazz, but also in other subtle musical styles where dynamics are key. Notably, this is the final design left behind by Agop Tomurcuk himself, created from decades of experience drawn from his personal notebook. As such, this ride offers not only a distinctive sound, but also a piece of Turkish cymbal tradition.
