General
The Istanbul Agop 22" Turk Ride from the Custom Turk/Turk Jazz Series is renowned for its solid, dry attack with a raw and clear bell. This ride cymbal is extensively hammered but not twisted, resulting in a characteristic dry and dark sound. Thanks to the low level of overtones, you get a controlled tone that lends itself perfectly to complex rhythmic patterns without your sound becoming muddled. A subtly textured surface and deep hammer marks not only give this ride a unique look, but also ensure a distinct, mature sound in acoustic jazz, fusion or experimental music.
