Masterwork Custom Extra Thin Ride 22-inch

This Extra Thin Ride has a 22-inch diameter and comes from the successful Custom series by cymbal manufacturer Masterwork. The cymbal has a somewhat gritty character with lots of low end. Stick definition is fine and sustain is very nice, both with sticks and brushes. The relatively thin cymbal top lets itself crash just fine. In the process, we hear a complex mix of overtones. This ride comes into its own particularly well in jazz and Latin, but also the lighter sides of pop and rock music, among others.

Masterwork Custom Series

Masterwork focuses on the all-round drummer with the Custom series. The Custom cymbals are made entirely by hand. This is done entirely according to traditional methods and, not entirely coincidentally, in Istanbul; the capital of cymbals as we know them today. A unique B25 alloy consisting of 75% copper and 25% tin is used for all Masterwork cymbals, including the Custom series. Even traces of silver can be found here and there! Masterwork Custom cymbals have a balanced, dynamic, earthy sound with a nice, medium-long sustain. The response and articulation these cymbals offer make every drummer happy.
