Sometimes it is nice to have extra stick definition, more volume and a solid cup sound. Especially when playing solid pop, rock or funk, a thick ride is nice to have on hand. For these situations, Masterwork has developed this 20-inch Heavy Ride. The relatively thick cymbal has a considerable volume range and excellent definition. The cup sounds clear and also well defined. The sustain is quite long and possesses a nice range of overtones.

Masterwork Custom Series

Masterwork focuses on the all-round drummer with the Custom series. The Custom cymbals are made entirely by hand. This is done entirely according to traditional methods and, not entirely coincidentally, in Istanbul; the capital of cymbals as we know them today. A unique B25 alloy consisting of 75% copper and 25% tin is used for all Masterwork cymbals, including the Custom series. Even traces of silver can be found here and there! Masterwork Custom cymbals have a balanced, dynamic, earthy sound with a nice, medium-long sustain. The response and articulation these cymbals offer make every drummer happy.
