General
Meinl's Byzance Extra Dry cymbals can best be described as simply remarkable. They feature a weathered look, while they are crafted with the utmost of care, just like the other Byzance cymbals. By its raw, unlathed appearance, you can clearly tell that the B20EDTR is a hand-hammered cymbal, which improves its beautifully low-pitched sound.
Meinl Byzance B20EDTR Extra Dry Thin Ride
The B20EDTR is a thin ride cymbal with short sustain and a well-balanced volume. As this ride if crafted in a different way from most other cymbals, it sounds much less shallow, instead offering a versatile sound with deep lows and a dry overall character. It's a great cymbal, and a great fit for a wide range of genres.
