A ride cymbal is every serious drummer's right hand. This cymbal skilfully paints the tonal picture in choruses and bridges, can allow for cutting punctuation of accents, or - in jazz music - can almost single-handedly carry the entire groove. If you're looking for an affordable ride that sounds excellent, then this Meinl HCS20R might be just the ticket. It was crafted using modern machining technology, ensuring a constant sound and excellent durability.
This ride cymbal is made of Meinl's MS63 brass alloy, resulting in a lightweight, yet durable ride cymbal with a warm, balanced sound that is bright, carries quite well and has a well-defined ping. The bell, which is an integral part of any ride cymbal, has a beautiful cutting sound, which allows for excellent punctuation. The HCS20R is a versatile ride cymbal that everyone can have access to, thanks to its budget-conscious pricing.
