Sabian gave the HHX Phoenix ride a special treatment, landing it firmly in the Big & Ugly series. It has a dry, dark sound and a bright attack that decays rapidly, making it excellently suited for jazz, though it can handle a wide variety of styles. Especially experimental pop and rock drummers will find a lot to like in this cymbal, which was exactly what Sabian intended. This cymbal will give you complete control.

What a ride cymbal, nothing like it. Hunting for over a year now for that perfect ride and fell in love with this beauty (or big and ugly!). Hesitated on purchasing due the the big price tag and the fact no one had it in stock. Bax had the perfect price and had it in stock! I couldn't resist, I now own this monster.
