General

Sabian ensures us that the XSR cymbals are absolutely best in class! They use trickle-down technology that comes straight from the high-end X-plosion and Evolution series, and even made some improvements. As such, the Sabian XSR-2280M 22" Monarch ride cymbal has clear stick definition as well as plenty of wash and an overall bright sound. Sabian's own B20 bronze alloy was used to create this medium-thin cymbal, and thanks to pin-point lathing and hammering, it's received an enhanced profile and bell shape for a highly focused sound.
