The 21 inch Stagg Genghis Dual Medium ride has been hand-hammered to shape using B20 bronze and given a raw, unfinished inner bow and brilliant finished outer edge, splitting the cymbal into two zones to create a uniquely dark and deep sound, where the complex hammer patterning plays a big role. This singular construction also ensures that the pronounced stick definition of the raw zone is balanced perfectly with the flowing wash of the brilliant zone, which translates into a near-endlessly variable response as well as a sweet vintage look.
