General
If you are looking for a fine jazz/fusion ride brimming with texture and overtones, this Zildjian 20-inch K Custom Left Side Ride is definitely not to be missed. The ride features three rivets at the bottom, giving you a pleasant sizzle sound. The Left Side Ride was designed in collaboration with American jazz drummer Peter Erskine; and it pays off. The ride has excellent stick definition and, due to its dry sound characteristics, does not easily turn into a wash. This keeps the ride well under control and also preserves that oh-so-important definition.
