General
This 20-inch diameter Zildjian S Family Dark Ride is a very musical, dark ride with a medium sustain. Many rides with a dark finish are at the same time often very dry in terms of sound: not this S Family Dark Ride! The ride has a medium sustain with a very bright and clear stick definition. The sustain is not overpowering, allowing you to always keep the impact of your sticks well in the foreground - without having a dry short sustain in the process. The ride is made of a B12 bronze alloy and features a dark brilliant finish.
