This splash cymbal is excellently suited for the all-round drummer or percussion player who is looking for a subtle, crash-like effect. With its quick response, short sustain and relatively high-pitched sound, the Zildjian A Custom series splash cymbal is great for quick accents.
Tips or comments about this product
- especially with a small splash cymbal, it is important to use proper technique and not to hit it too hard. A cymbal can only deal with so much vibration. The bigger the cymbal, the more vibration it can handle. If you hit it too hard, there is a chance that it'll start to crack from the edge or the centre hole. This is usually not covered in the warranty for this product. Cracks that form around the bell often times do fall under the warranty.
