The pickup configuration consists of a clear-sounding single-coil pickup at the bridge and a split single-coil at the neck which has a fuller, punchier sound and suppresses the infamous single-coil hum.

You can adjust the overall sound of the LTD B-50 BLK with the volume knobs and tone control. A notable feature of this guitar is that it is equipped with an active boost circuit, which means the bass/treble is amplified instead of just filtered out.
