General
This fretless Jazz Bass is from Fender's American Pro series that replaces the American Standard series. A fretless bass offers a pure sound that is smoother than a bass with frets can produce. Not only that, it gives you access to notes in between the twelve used in standard western music. Apart from the lack of frets, this model has everything else you'd expect from a Fender Jazz bass including flawless playability and a great sound.
American Pro Jazz Bass Fretless: features
This bass is not only professional in name, but also in features. The neck has a Slim C profile that is extremely comfortable to play and two Posiflex graphite rods that ensure excellent tuning stability. The machine heads also play a role thanks to their fluted shafts, which increase the tuning stability and add extra sustain. There's also a HiMass Vintage bridge developed by Fender themselves. It offers an authentic appearance and sound and also enhances the stability and sustain.
V-Mod Jazz
This fretless Fender Jazz Bass is equipped with two Fender V-Mod pickups. They're based on Fender's classic vintage pickups, but use a mix of Alnico magnets that results in a classic sound with a higher output. That makes this bass perfect for playing effortless grooves or shredding, all with that distinctive Fender sound of course! Finally, you can take the Fender American Pro Jazz Bass Fretless Color Sunburst RW wherever you want in the Elite Molded Case that comes with it.
