This Fender Deluxe Active V Jazz Bass in Olympic White is a 5-string bass that offers an authentic, classic Fender sound as well as the perks of modern-day technology. With two Ceramic Vintage Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups on board, it's able to produce a passive seventies sound. When the pickups are activated by means of a mini switch, this Deluxe Active bass transforms into an animal! The powerful low, mid and high on this instrument can be fine-tuned to perfection thanks to the intelligent active system to produce that familiar Jazz Bass sound like you've never heard before!

Fender Deluxe Active Jazz-Bass V in Olympic White

A phat Fender HiMass bridge has been screwed into the Deluxe Active's alder-wood body, with better resonance and sustain as a result. An asymmetrical four-point bolt-on maple neck features the familiar string nut width of a 5-string bass and a comfortable C profile. It also has a bevelled heel to allow easy access to the highest frets, and a smooth, rosewood fretboard with 12-inch radius, enabling ultra-fast playing.

Classical appearance

This Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass V in Olympic White is as striking as it is classic in appearance, and sounds as good as it looks. With the built-in preamp activated, it offers a sound that's either rough and raw, or wide-open and downright brutal. It can handle any genre with ease, and makes an ideal companion for bassists who need to be able to play a variety of styles with one instrument.
