The Fender Sandblasted Jazz Bass (transparent Sapphire Blue) is a stunning addition to Fender's line of products. Each of the Sandblasted-series instruments is unique for its innovative, daring finish. A beautiful transparent blue lacquer is applied, and the body is then sandblasted to create parallel grooves - with a truly unique pattern - that are accentuated by the black filler and complemented by the black pickguard. This model is only available in a limited number and comes with a luxury gig bag.

Construction

In addition to the striking look, the sound of this guitar is also one of a kind. The ash body allows for a clear sound with balanced, warm base tones while the maple neck and fretboard add an essential bit of sparkle. Moreover, ash is lighter than the more common alder, which ensures that extended playing isn't an issue. Additionally, this Jazz Bass gives you everything you may expect from an American Fender, including a narrow C-shaped neck with a satin-gloss finish for optimal playing comfort. The American Standard bridge and pickups have been a tried and tested recipe for a versatile, solid instrument.
