Ooit, ergens in de jaren '70, heb ik een poosje op een mustang bas mogen spelen. De herinnering daaraan was prima, dus ik ben wat rond gaan snuffelen op internet. Allen maar goede reviews over de Mustang PJ. Ik heb niet al te grote handen en speel er nu een paar weken op. Het voelt goed, het speelt goed en het klinkt goed, zeker met de combinatie van een P en een J element. Een volwassen bas. Ik kan er alle kanten mee op.
Over de levering van Bax niets dan lof.

Echt een te gekke bas. Volwassen geluid. Vooral het P bas element klinkt fantastisch. Ga er ook zeker mee optreden. Kan ik mijn 5 snarige Fender USA de luxe thuis laten. Scheelt heel veel kilo's :-).

Erg fijne basgitaar. Speelt heel lekker wat uiteraard ook te maken heeft met de korte mensuur. Blijft prima op stemming en qua sound heb je veel mogelijkheden door het extra element t.o.v. de 'oude' Mustang. Helaas had de volumeknop op mijn bas de neiging om te ver door te draaien. Hoor je niks van maar het hoort niet. Op een ander model raakte binnen een week een contactje in de bas (?) los waardoor het P-element regelmatig stoort of uitvalt. Moet ik nog laten repareren. Zonder deze mankementen had hij 5 sterren verdiend.
