This remarkable five-string hollow-body bass guitar is known as the Ibanez Artcore Vintage AGBV205A. It has a beautifully weathered look, but underneath its Tobacco Burst Low Gloss finish, it's actually a brand new instrument. This bass guitar's body is made of maple and has an arched top with f-holes. Its mahogany neck is fitted with a fretboard that sports 22 medium frets, and its five strings run along an Artcore Custom V bridge with an equally weathered look. Thanks to two Classic Elite Bass humbuckers, the Ibanez Artcore Vintage AGBV205A-TCL sounds just as authentic as it looks.

As usual, Japanese manufacturer Ibanez has chosen the NAMM show in Anaheim, California to launch their new bass guitars. What better time to introduce 24 brand new models than the world's largest music gear convention, after all? Some of these new basses are based on existing models, but feature new finishes or modifications. Others are completely new, ground-breaking instruments.
