The GSR200BK SR is a real no-nonsense bass guitar in a positive way, this bass is very easy to play without sacrificing any quality. A very striking and attractive feature of this instrument is its price tag, which can be viewed as truly humble. With this black 4-string bass, Ibanez delivers a modern instrument with 22 frets, a bolt-on neck with rosewood fretboard and a body made of Agathis.
PHAT-II
Despite its low price, the GSR200BK is equipped with the PHAT-II equalizer which gives the sound a great boost. The active electronics push the bass to the higher regions so that it perfectly cuts through the mix, even in heavier music styles. With the separate volume controls for the single-coil and the split single-coil pickups and master tone button, you can further adjust your sound. This powerful bass doesn't shy away from the heavier music styles.
