The Weathered Black finished Ibanez GSRM20B is one the more serious looking models that the miKro series has to offer, and while this is a tight and manageable short-scale bass, it comes with pretty much all of the same potency and potential as a standard bass. The more compact dimensions and reduced length make this the perfect instrument for growing limbs or bassists with a shorter posture, while the tonal profile of the mounted pickups backs up any player with versatile sound.

The Little Noise-Maker

Contrasting with other models in the range, the GSRM20B has been given a poplar body, complete with the same iconic rounded edges and huggable bevelling. This has been combined with a maple neck, a jatoba fretboard and a matching black headstock to complete a great look, balanced sound and snug playing feel. In terms of sound, you're getting the power of a standard P and J pickup configuration, where the J-style single-coil at the bridge provides the depth and the P-style split coil in the middle position adds definition. Tweak the result to taste using the two volume pots and the tone control will take care of the rest.
