General

White instruments seldom fail to dazzle. With the Ibanez SR300E, it's not just its Pearl White finish that dazzles though, but also its sound possibilities. This electric bass is part of Ibanez's Soundgear series, so it has a sleek body and a super-comfortable slim neck. Of course, it also delivers remarkable sound thanks to two PowerSpan humbuckers that can be controlled by the Power Tap switch. In combination with the three-band equalizer, you have a variety of sounds at your fingertips.

Single, double or both?

The string vibrations are optimised by the fixed bridge and passed to two PowerSpan dual-coil pickups. Both the high tones and the low tones are picked up effectively as a result of the pickup's exposed poles. With the Power Tap switch, the humbucker pickups can be changed to function as single-coils or as a combination of both. This gives you the clarity of single-coils without the loss of fat low tones. Together with the active EQ, there are a number of possibilities at hand.

Dependable bridge

The SR300E is a long scale model which means that it's important that the strings are accurately aligned from the bridge to the headstock. To this end, the SR300E is fitted with the Accu-cast B120 fixed bridge which ensures that the strings vibrations are as optimal as possible. Changing your strings or adjusting the intonation is also child's play with this bridge. The body has a beautiful finish and, in combination with the 5-piece neck and rosewood fretboard with 24 frets, gives you an instrument that is easy to play. It would certainly make a great instrument for any beginner.
