It features a Custom Electronics 3-band equalizer that expands your tone, and two dual-coil PowerSpan pickups with open magnetic poles. Thanks to the Power Tap 3-position switch, you can choose between the basic sound options the dual-coil pickups have to offer: two single-coil variations and a warm humbucker sound. This electric SR305 bass is great for those just starting out, but still want a wide, versatile sound right off the bat.

Really fun instrument. My first 5 string and really lovey to play straight out the box. The shape and finish of the neck are a breath of fresh air after playing Fenders/Squiers with their gloss-finish necks. Really easy to play and much easier to knock out fast and fiddly sounds. The EQ also gives you a lot of options. And the bass looks great with this finish. Really happy with it!

Mijn vierde bas en zonder twijfel mijn beste bas. Licht en zeer ergonomisch met afgeronde vormen. Smalle nek voor een 5-string. Snaren wel iets dichter bij elkaar dan bij andere bassen maar dat is prima. Krachtige toon met de ingebouwde preamp. Deze bas zet echt aan tot spelen.

Super basse, trés légère, le manche est une autoroute, même en 5 cordes. J’en ai acheté 2, une 4 puis une 5 cordes. Le son est vraiment bon.

Perfect instrument voor mij. 5-snarige bass met slanke nek die superlicht speelt en niet te veel weegt. Goed afgewerkt. perfecte frets. Wat betreft ergonomie, is dit de beste 5-string bass die ik al gehad heb. Het enige wat ik wel nog moest doen, was de actie verlagen (kwestie van persoonlijke voorkeur) en de intonatie correct instellen.

Eigenlijk 'erbij' gekocht (naast de fretless SRF705), maar verbluft door de kwaliteit en de mogelijkheden. Gewoon een steengoede bas voor dat geld. Speel er inmiddels (na een week of drie) vaker op dan op mijn 'precious'. Fijne hals, strakke tonen, 3-weg EQ, de mogelijkheid om te switchen tussen single coil, humbucker en een mix. Op dit moment zijn mijn voorkeuren neck op tap1 (single coil), en 2/3 bridge met 1/3 Neck op tap3 (of anders). Op een of andere manier lijkt er net wat meer karakter in de toon te zitten dan bij de Yamaha. Aangenaam verrast door deze bas.
V.w.b. afwerking geen grote dingen. Schroeven van hals en van brug 1/8 tot 1/4 slag aangetrokken en een van de potmeters beter vast gezet. Frets, hals en brugafstelling waren prima.
