General
The Yamaha TRBX504 (Translucent Black) is an electric bass guitar from the modern Yamaha TRBX series. The TRBX500 models have the same high-quality build as the TRBX300 series, but offer even more sound possibilities. The versatility comes from an active tone circuit with three tone adjustment knobs and the choice between active and passive tone in regards to the output level.
A Powerful Design
The comfortable, accurately finished body of the Yamaha TRBX 504 is fashioned from mahogany to give the bass a full, deep yet clear resonance. The electronic heart is formed by the two Yamaha YGD pickups equipped with Alnico V magnets and 4 poles per string. This powerful design ensures an extremely detailed, punchy sound.

Ik heb deze basgitaar nu een jaar in huis en ik ben er ontzettend blij mee.
Het is niet de lichtste basgitaar als je wat kleiner van stuk bent maar daar staat tegenover dat je een heerlijk helder geluid hebt en je uren achter elkaar kunt spelen. De dunne hals maakt spelen erg fijn, zeker als je wat kleinere handen hebt een je toch op een long scale speelt.
Geen sprake van scherpe frets, genoeg opties voor de vorming van je ideale geluid en hij blijft er prachtig en chique uitzien, ook bij dagelijks gebruik.
Kortom: absoluut geen spijt van mijn aankoop.

Mooie basgitaar met een klassiek en gebalanceerd design in satin finish.
Makkelijk bespeelbaar, veel opties voor vorming van het geluid dankzij actieve / passieve elektronica en pickup blending.
Dus een no-nonsense basgitaar zonder bling-bling met fancy houtsoort of finish.
Pas op, geleverd met anti-rust papier (waarschijnlijk) met lemon oil op de snaren. Kan een paar dagen stinken :D
