As the name suggests, the Yamaha TRBX504 electric bass is part of the ultra-modern Yamaha TRBX-Series. This instrument boasts as superb a build-quality as the TRBX300 version while somehow offering even more tonal variation. This flexibility is shaped in part by an active circuit with three-band tone controls that manages to retain the same output level when switched to passive mode.

The Yamaha TRBX504: Powerful Design

The comfortable and precisely chamfered mahogany body of the Yamaha TRBX 504 shapes a full and deep foundation sound with bright resonance while the front-line of the electronics section is formed by a pair of Yamaha YGD pickups, each fitted with Alnico V magnets with four poles per string. This meticulous and powerful design makes for extreme detail and sweet definition with a satisfying punch.

Wrote the following about Yamaha TRBX504 Brick Burst Electric Bass Guitar

Na eerst een Yamaha TRBX305 te hebben aangeschaft werd duidelijk dat ik toch liever een 4-snarige basgitaar wilde spelen.
De Yamaha TRBX305 beviel heel goed dus ben ik gaan kijken naar een 4-snarige basgitaar in de TRBX serie.
Lang zitten twijfelen tussen een TRBX304 en een TRBX504. Uiteindelijk gekozen voor de TRBX504 vanwege de uitgebreidere toonregeling en passive/active switch.
De Yamaha TRBX504 is goed in balans en bijna een kwart lichter in gewicht dan de TRBX305.
Uit de verpakking is de TRBX504 goed te bespelen, de setup af fabriek is goed. Kan toeval zijn maar zelfs iets beter dan bij de TRBX305.
Wat opvalt is dat de afwerking van de frets aan de onderkant van de hals wat ruw is, dit kan beter.
De toonregeling is in de active stand zeer goed, in de passive stand wat beperkter omdat dan maar één van de drie toonregelaars gebruikt wordt.
Er is een batterij controle LED aangebracht waardoor je niet ineens met een lege batterij komt te zitten tijdens een optreden.

Yamaha TRBX504 Brick Burst elektrische basgitaar: besteld en in het weekend binnen 12 uur geleverd op het gewenste filiaal. Vriendelijk personeel en alle tijd om de gitaar uitvoerig te testen. Daarbij ook nog eens een leuke korting bij de aanschaf gekregen. Zeer goed bespeelbare basgitaar met veel instelmogelijkheden, voor dit bedrag en kwaliteit zeker een aanrader !
