The Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special in classic three-colour sunburst is a beautiful instrument for the serious starting guitarist. It combines a vintage Fender look with a powerful sound, partly due to its active boost circuit. Squier, as an affiliate of famous Fender, are known for their high-quality Fender versions at an affordable price. The Jaguar bass is one of those classic Fender instruments, its sound is comparable to the growl of the Jazz Bass with Precision punch.
The versatility of the Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special
This Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special has a transparent sunburst finish, really bringing out the grain of the basswood body. Also, this electric bass guitar has that distinctive asymmetrical Jaguar look and slender fast-action neck for smooth playability. The bass has two pickups: the Jazz Bass single coil pickup provides for solid mids (allowing you to be clearly heard over the mix), whilst the Precision pickup has a deep and powerful sound. The active bass boost circuit adds an extra kick to the bass sound.
