Squier offers you a black, elegantly curved instrument with this Vintage Modified Jazz Bass '77. Several features of this bass guitar have been based on late seventies models, like the maple fretboard with white block inlays and bindings, for instance. The master tone and volume knobs are black. The C-shaped neck allows for smooth playing and has a gloss vintage tint.
Vintage Modified Jazz Bass 77
The foundations for a genuine, gnarling Jazz Bass sound is laid by the two Fender-designed single-coils. These pickups have their separate volume controls so that you can alternate between a deeper tone and a warmer, more direct sound. The body of this guitar is made of agathis, which is light of weight and produces a relatively warm sound. The hardware is chrome-plated and the overall build quality is very respectable. This guitar represents a strong offer for fans of old-school bass grooves.

Je kunt natuurlijk geen basgitaar van 2250 vergelijken met eentje die 350 euro kost, dat begint al met het gewicht. Het hout klinkt onversterkt anders dan de Van der End die ik had. eenmaal ingeplugt vind ik dat hij toch heel lekker klinkt.
De snaren die erop zitten zijn voor beginners bedoelt dus ik zou even een setje snaren meebestellen.
verder maakt de maple nek echt het geluid wat betreft slap e.d. als je een Miller geluid zoekt dan heeft deze basgitaar dat zeker!
de Stem mechanieken zijn van degelijke kwaliteit en ze schreeuwen niet om aandacht snaren blijven mooi
gestemt en een leuke upgrade aan deze basgitaar zou bijvoorbeeld de brug zijn.
Levering was vliegens vlug en ik kreeg er een onderhouds setje bij gratis. bedankt Baxshop!!

Funk in het kwadraat , mooie matte en niet te stroeve hals, en toch ook weer behept met de mooie Fender mojo vintage sound, diep warm contra bas achtig.
De CV worden hoger ingeschaald maar toch is deze 77 zwarte VM wat mij betreft een aanrader.
En tsja....zwart met een maple neck....dat ziet er zo gedistingueerd uit toch ?
Een topper en zeker binnen zijn prijsklasse !
