This 5-string Olympic White Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V is the more affordable smaller brother of the American Fender J-Bass. It is equipped with a fifth string in a low B tuning, providing you with five half notes of extra depth. Additionally, it features Fender-designed pickups so you're guaranteed that authentic full and clear Jazz Bass sound.
The Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V's features
This 5-string edition of the Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass has a '70s-style maple neck that features a 20-fret maple fretboard with block inlays and black bindings finished with a vintage-tinted high-gloss lacquer. The distinctive asymmetrical body is made of soft maple, a lightweight type of maple that has a clear tone with neat, warm basses. A notable feature of the Jazz Bass is its narrow (48mm) neck that makes is surprisingly comfortable to play for a 5-string bass guitar.

Pour le prix cest une super Bass ; ayant possédé des basses haut de gamme , le seul upgrade à terme serait les micros et lélectronique ; tout le reste , au premier abord , est tout à fait crédible.; comparée à une.Sire Marcus Miller M2 se situant dans la même tranche de prix ou encore aux modèles Cort , Ibanez, et autres ... niveau sensation de jeu cest Loin devant ; pas de côté ´´jouet´ ; un véritable instrument ; en jouant avec lequa de lampli on se débrouille pour maquiller la petite faiblesse micro qui à terme seraient à changer . Pour 500 bons euros en tout on a une basse qui tient carrément la route de la scène au studio et ce en milieu pro. Conseillée !!! : )

Un son claiement défini, y compris sur la corde de Si, une finition parfaite avec un beau vernis blanc brillant, et un manche très agréable pour une basse 5 cordes.
Attention toutefois, la Belle est relativement massive et donc lourde, ce qui personnellement ne me pose pas de problème particulier mais pourrait peut-être en gêner certains en fonction de leur morphologie.
