The Spirit XT-2DB Standard Bass doesn't just offer you a classic Ned Steinberger build, but the option to go from the standard E-tuning to a Drop-D tuning in a flash using the DB-Tuner Drop Tuning System at the bridge. Since this innovative bass also features a Direct Pull system with a 40:1 ratio, ultra-accurate tune-ups are a given, and Steinberger even include a deluxe black gig bag so you can tote it safely to and fro.
The XT-2DB: Lightweight, Strong & Visually Bold
Just like the popular XT-2, this 4-string Steinberger bass has a linden body and a solidly set-in, 3-piece maple neck. This, combined with the daring design of the headless build, has resulted in an electric bass guitar that feels exceptionally lightweight yet remarkably robust. In other words, the XT-2DB Standard Bass is not just ready for the stage, but ready to hit the road, offering players a delicious selection of passive bass sounds shaped by two humbuckers, two volume pots and a single, brave tone pot.
